'The Magic of the Musicals ' Music Theatre Workshop is an exciting opportunity where singers of all abilities can sing up to eight of their favourite songs from music theatre. For a memorable weekend in some of the Cotswolds most beautiful countryside, this really is a weekend getaway with a difference!
Whether it be favourite numbers from Chicago, A Chorus Line, Cats or perhaps Evita, solo performers of all ages will be able to build confidence and improve the interpretation and presentation of their songs. The course leader Tricia Dibb, is an experienced stage actress, director and producer who will help everyone get a little bit closer to that glamorous stage spotlight!
Singing technique, voice production, breathing and relaxation will be covered and tips offered to get the best from every performance. There will also be an informal concert so delegates can perform their song in front of a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
Prices begin from only £140 (non-residential) to £185 (double room - based on two people sharing) and £200 (single room). Who knows what success it might lead to!

Tutor Tricia Dibb is a teacher and experienced leader of performance workshops for adult singers. She performs professionally as a solo singer and as an actor and devises and performs educational workshops for children. Tricia also works as a Director and Producer of musical shows, running and performing in her own production company, TD Productions, which specialises in musical productions from Victorian Music Hall to the music of the 20\'s, 30\'s, 40\'s and beyond.
One of her specialities is the presentation of biographies of Music Theatre composers, for example Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Irvine Berlin, illustrated with live song. From its 300-acre location situation based in the North of the Cotswolds, the Farncombe Estate Centre offers a broad range of courses designed to stimulate the body and mind.
